Maranatha Wrestlers Off to Strong Start with Osseo Program

The Osseo wrestling program is seeing a boost from a talented group of Maranatha Christian Academy athletes, as sophomore Paul Solberg, seventh grader Charlie Solberg, sophomore Max Griffnow, and junior Andrew Mondl have all begun the season with promising momentum.

Competing as part of Osseo’s cooperative team, the Mustang contingent is already making an impact. At the Lakeville Tournament, both Solberg brothers celebrated milestone moments: Paul Solberg earned his first varsity pin of the season, showcasing his growth and confidence on the mat, while Charlie Solberg secured his first JV pin, an impressive accomplishment for the young seventh grader.

Meanwhile, Griffnow and Mondl continue to contribute valuable depth, work ethic, and competitiveness to a team that is shaping up to be highly competitive this winter. Their collective presence strengthens Osseo’s lineup and reflects positively on Maranatha’s commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes.

With early achievements already on the board, expectations are high for continued success as the season progresses. This group of Mustangs-turned-Orioles is poised to keep building momentum and representing Maranatha Christian Academy with grit and strong character.
