The Maranatha Christian Academy girls’ soccer team wrapped up its regular season on Thursday night with a 1-0 win over St. Croix Lutheran during Senior Night. 

Senior Olivia Lanari scored the only goal of the game, giving the Mustangs the lead. Junior Kate Wahl had a shutout in net, keeping St. Croix Lutheran from scoring and helping secure the win. 

The victory gave the Mustangs an 11-5 overall record and a 6-2 conference record, which secured a second-place finish in the Skyline Conference to end the regular season. 

Next up for Maranatha is the Section Tournament, which begins Monday, October 6th. Seeds will be released this weekend, but the Mustangs already know they’ll be the higher seed and will be host to a lower seed team. Game time will be 7:00 pm.
