SPORTSMANSHIP

As part of the Skyline Conference, one of our primary goals is to promote first-class conduct at each of our athletics events. It is important that coaches, players, staff, students and fans follow these expectations to promote and maintain a safe, comfortable, inclusive, and family-friendly experience at events:

  • Refrain from behavior and language based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression or gender identity
  • Respect the dignity and personal space of all staff, fans, officials, student-athletes and opposing teams
  • Foster an environment free from all forms of discrimination, including harassment
  • Prohibited behaviors and actions include throwing objects, entering the competition surface or field, disrupting the competition, touching others without their permission, and any behavior that denies others access to the benefits of the athletic event
  • Expect and encourage good displays of sportsmanship from fellow fans
  • Cheer, show your school pride, and be loud in a respectful manner. Antagonizing or taunting others is not the same as cheering
  • Respect all facility regulations and comply with public address announcements.
