Mustang Softball secured their third straight Skyline Conference Championship with a 16-0 win over St. Croix Prep on May 11. The Mustangs finished 9-1 in the Skyline Conference with their lone loss coming against a tough St. Agnes Aggie squad.

After opening the Section 5AA Tournament with a 5-1 win over Maple Lake, the Mustangs lost a close battle at home to Glencoe-Silver Lake by a score of 2-3. They went on the road to Rockford High School following that loss knowing that they needed a win to stay alive on the road to state.  The Mustangs jumped out to a 5-1 lead over Southwest Christian, but the Stars got their bats working and went ahead 6-5 late in the game to end the Mustangs season.

Maranatha finished with an overall record of 13-7. The Mustangs return 7 starters next season and will look to continue their streak as Skyline Conference champs.
