The Mustangs varsity softball team improved to 3-3 on the season with back-to-back wins over St. Croix Lutheran and St. Croix Prep. MCA stepped on their home field for the first time this season on April 23 as they hosted Skyline Conference opponent St. Croix Lutheran. The Mustangs got their bats working early in the contest and didn’t look back on their way to a 14-2 win over the Crusaders.

They went on the road on April 25 to face a St. Croix Prep team that has yet to get a win early in the season. Despite a few questionable calls, the Mustangs came out on top 14-10 to improve to 2-1 in the Skyline Conference and 3-3 overall.

Eighth grade catcher/3rd baseman, Kendall Capp, and sophomore catcher, Gracelyn Kersey-Schutta, are off to a great start at the plate. Kendall Capp is batting .632 and Gracelyn Kersey-Schutta is batting .400.
