MCA ALUMNI 2025 SPRING UPDATE

Grace Kealy had a phenomenal sophomore season for the Gaston Rhinos. She helped lead her team to a Region 10 Softball Championship with a 15-0 win over Monroe University. The Rhinos moved on to the Mid-Atlantic District Tournament, where they defeated Georgia Military College 9-0 and 8-1 to advance to the NJCAA DI World Series, where they had a record of 3-2. 

The Rhinos ended the season with an overall record of 63-5. Grace Kealy played in all 68 games and had a batting average of .425, with 20 home runs and 90 RBIs. Wow! What a season, and to top it off, Grace was named Third Team All-American!

Kyllie Weingart. She competed in 17 games behind the plate for the St. Thomas Tommies this spring. As a sophomore catcher, she had 12 at bats and had a batting average of .167. 

Kyllie helped lead the Tommies to an overall record of 33-17 and a spot in the Summit League Championship where they faced the North Dakota State University Bison. The Tommies were crowned the 2025 Champs by defeating the Bison 3-2 (12-2, 4-5, 9-0).
