Gilmer is in his third year as an assistant coach at Maranatha Christian Academy. He played four years of Division III collegiate basketball at Crown College and the University of Northwestern. This includes winning two UMAC Conference Championships with the University of Northwestern St. Paul. For the past seven years, he has been instructing, training, and coaching high school basketball athletes in Minnesota, and enjoys building trusted personal relationships with everyone that he works with.
Gilmer graduated from Crown College in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical and Health Education.
