There was plenty to cheer about out on the MCA middle school softball field this season, with good crowds at every game. The Mustangs recently finished their season with a 6-1 record in the NSPSL and an overall record of 8-2.

They entered the NSPSL Tournament as the #2 seed and took care of business early in the first round against St. Stephen. MCA won by a score of 12-2 to advance to the second round. The Legacy Lions traveled to Zane Sports Park to take on the Mustangs in the semifinals and struggled to get anything going. The Mustang bats stayed hot as they put up 15 runs to advance to the championship with a 15-5 win over the Lions. They were matched up against a very tough #1 seed St. Vincent team and fell short in the championship game. Despite the loss, the Mustangs had an incredible season.
