Grant Bennett is a freshman goalkeeper on the Crown College Men’s Soccer team that finished the season with an overall record of 14-10-2 and a third place finish in the UMAC. He logged 77 minutes in his lone game on the season, a 7-0 win over Trinity Bible College.Â
Ava Chew played in 16 games during her freshman season as a defenseman for the Crown College Women’s Soccer Team. The Polars finished the season with an overall record of 7-9-3 and a fourth place finish in the UMAC. Ava Chew was named UMAC Academic All-Conference as well.Â
Sydney Johnson just finished her senior season as a forward on the Southwest Minnesota State University Women’s Soccer team. She transferred to SMSU after playing one season at Purdue University-Fort Wayne. A season-ending injury cut her senior year short. She played in 5 games for the Mustangs in 2024 and 37 games in her final three seasons. The Mustangs finished the year with an overall record of 2-14-2 and a twelfth place finish in the NSIC.
Brynn Kolbrek, a sophomore goalkeeper on the University of Northwestern-St. Paul Women’s Soccer team, logged 11 games for the Eagles. They finished the season with an overall record of 7-10-2 and a third place finish in the UMAC. Brynn received the UMAC Academic All-Conference Award for the second year in a row.Â
Keely Kolbrek played in 15 games for the Dordt University Women’s Soccer team during her senior season and 59 games throughout her career. She scored 1 goal and had 4 assists as a midfielder during her final season in a Defender uniform. The team finished with an overall record of 12-5-1 and a third place finish in the GPAC. Keely also received the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award during her final three seasons.Â
Olive Rolseth continued to be a force at the net during her junior year as an outside hitter on the Wester Colorado Women’s Volleyball team. She played in 28 matches and finished the season with 235 kills, 32 aces, 122 digs, and 16 blocks. Olive now has 375 kills in her career at Western Colorado. The Mountaineers finished the season with an overall record of 12-16 and a 7th place finish in the RMAC. Â
